Ponderances.

Doing planning for Teach a Friend to Homebrew Day. Registered our house as an official site. Asked for some copies of “Zymurgy for Beginners.”

The plan, right now, is to make an all-grain batch. If there’s some way I can get another outdoor burner, I’d make two - one all-grain and one extract. Everybody watches, learns, participates, and drinks.

I let it ferment and throw it into secondary. Then, a few weeks later, everybody comes back over for a pint and fills a growler of it to take home.

The only question now is — what kind of beer do we make?

I know I’ll get at least one response of “porter!” :) I was thinking that it should be something fairly friendly to all types. Maybe some sort of amber/copper ale? I mean - porter would work, too.

A national toast to Michael Jackson.

Plan ahead.

Beer: Still good for you.

7-hour Brew Day.

Seasonal.

A damn, damn shame.

The Bitter Runt

Melons gone nasty.

More melons gone wild.
